    @Aheyne How much do you know about the effects of ab workouts on an umbilical hernia? It doesn’t require surgery, but my doc said I got it because of weak upper abdominals.

    @AnthonyIsCoolio78 no not everyday..u have to let ur muscles rest..so like 3-4 times a week..and also do cardio..like run or ride ur bike..ab excercises dont burn belly fat..

    Truthfully I’m not familiar with the condition. I’m obviously not going to question your doctor, since I’m not any sort of certified specialist myself. That being said, if the hernia is pushing through the abdominal wall it might slow down if you have stronger abs. But at the same time, if you don’t get it reduced in size you’re simply treating symptoms and not fixing the problem :/ I would also imagine that at a certain point (pushing out past your belly) you can’t do much with strong abs.

    No bro, the muscle will just build underneath the fat. You need to burn fat by doing cardio, dieting ext.

    If you keep that up you’ll get a hunch, you have to evenly work your oblique abs. It may take an extra 20min but seriously reduce your risk of long term back pains. hope this helps :-)
